Nanu Oya is a beautiful village located in the Nuwara Eliya District of the Central Province of Sri Lanka. Nanu Oya is a 27 km (17 miles) long canal which starts from Pidurutalagala at an altitude of more than 2,000 m (6,562 ft) and flows into the Kotmale Oya at an altitude of approximately 1,200 m (3,937 ft). ). The Nanu Oya flows 2.5 km (1.6 miles) upstream from the Upper Kotmale Dam into the Upper Kotmale Oya.
